Q: What should I do if my sprinklers will not shut off
A: Turn controller to the off position.
If that doesn't work, turn off the water supply, preferably at the backflow if above ground and outside.
Turn off the water supply to the irrigation system at the main valve in the basement or in the connection box by the water meter.

Q: How often do I water my lawn for best results?
A: The answer to this question is contingent on which sprinkler you have and how fast it distributes the water to your lawn as well as how hot it is outside. Generally, it is a good idea to provide your lawn with one or two inches of water every week. It is best to water your lawn between 3 and 8 in the morning, especially during the hot months. Watering your lawn when it is very hot outside can cause your grass to burn.
