  • Touchscreen Interface. The Pro-HC controller has a full graphical touchscreen interface, which makes programming with or without Wi-Fi connectivity and manual starting from the controller a breeze.
  • Predictive Watering™ Adjustments. Daily schedule adjustments, based on local weather data, monitor past, current and forecasted temperature, rainfall, humidity, and wind speed. This allows for adjustments of watering times and schedules to balance water savings with water efficiency for plants.
  • Flow Meter Detection and Alerts. Monitor your piping and sprinklers with an optional flow meter. Receive automatic alerts when a pipe is broken to prevent property damage.
  • Hydrawise EPA Watersense Approved Smart Watering. All Hydrawise compatible controllers connected to Hydrawise web-based software are EPA WaterSense approved Smart Watering Controller. Hydrawise Predictive Watering™ allows the controller to adjust schedules based on forecasted temperature, rainfall probability, wind and humidity to provide the maximum water savings you come to expect from a Hunter smart controller.

Rain Bird PRS with Flow Optimizer Technology Turn high pressure into lower water bills

When the pressure’s on, save water and money with Rain Bird PRS rotors and sprays. High water pressure is a common problem in communities across the nation. But this big problem has a simple solution. By regulating high or fluctuating pressure at the head, Pressure Regulating Stems (PRS) with Flow Optimizer™ technology could save up to one gallon per minute per rotor or spray. Given the high price of water in many areas, your customers can also enjoy considerable cost savings—annually and over the life of the system.
Problems
High or fluctuating pressure is increasingly common. As pressure increases, so does an irrigation system’s flow rate. Laws restricting water use are being enacted across the U.S. — California’s AB1881 to name just one.
Problems
Wasted water Higher water bills Misting or fogging Damaged system components
Problems
Rain Bird PRS regulates high or fluctuating pressure at the rotor or spray head. Rain Bird Flow Optimizer technology maintains the ideal flow rate, putting down less water. Rain Bird PRS rotors and sprays ensure compliance with water restrictions and minimize wear and tear to the irrigation system.
Rain Bird was the first irrigation manufacturer to patent PRS for sprays. Unlike competitive PRS sprays, Rain Bird PRS sprays adjust to fluctuating pressure, optimizing flow and promoting a more consistent spray pattern. Select versions of the 1800 maintain operating pressures of 45 psi to maximize Rotary Nozzle efficiency.
Estimated Annual Savings
A typical residential site using Rain Bird® PRS 5000 Rotors and 1800® Series Sprays can save 106,000 gallons per year.* That’s enough to fill an average swimming pool five times over.
Leading Water Efficiency
Rain Bird PRS rotors and sprays are the only products of their kind in the industry to receive the Smart Approved WaterMark. This globally recognized designation is granted by an independent panel based in Australia.
